Oooooh, I so can't wait for this season to start- it just sucks we're only getting 8 episodes.
But nonetheless, here's some scoopage- it does contain spoilers so read at your own risk!!!
Check out http://www.find815.com/ and play the online game featuring a former Oceanic Air employee who's desperately searching for answers about what happened to the plane (his almost fiancee was a flight attendant on the plane). It's pretty cool- though maybe not working quite right- I made it pretty far through the first round, refreshed the screen because I thought I was missing something and lost nearly all of my progress (and I had registered too!).
From http://www.aintitcool.com/ as originally reported in Entertainment Weekly :
From the mouth of Matthew Fox:
"* Fox says at least one “decoy ending” was shot for season four.
* Fox was told who’s in the casket.
* Jack wanted to get everyone off the island but couldn’t, which explains much of his third-season-finale angst. (Kristin Veitch at E! said a few weeks ago the four other escapees were Jin, Sun, Sayid and billionaire Hurley.)
* The survivors who make it off the island become celebs.
* When asked if season four will deal with time travel, Fox says yes. “What is this island? Where is this island? When is this island?” are the questions Fox says the audience is dying to know.
* Fox suggests there may not be any more survivors suddenly promoted, like Nikki and Paulo, to major characters.
* “I'm telling you, the story is going to charge and move rapidly in the next 48 episodes,” Fox tells EW. “One of the knocks on the show is that it hasn't moved fast enough. Part of that was because [co-showrunner Damon Lindelof] felt like he didn't know when to let it go. Now he knows when to let it go.” "
Ask Auseillo at TVguide says there are likely to be two deaths instead of one, in the premiere, and that might not be all.
Billboards (real ones, mind you) are popping up all over the world for Oceanic Air:
And Oceanic Air has issued the following press release:
Oceanic Airlines announced today their return to the airways. Beginning December 31, operations and flights to nine markets will resume, “Taking You Places You Never Imagined.” Destinations include:
Los Angeles, CA
Tustin, CA
Ames, IA
Miami, FL
New York, NY
Portland, OR
Knoxville, TN
Seoul, South Korea
Sydney, Australia
“We are very eager to resume flying and apologize for any inconvenience our temporary closure may have caused our loyal customers,” said Michael Orteig, President, Oceanic Airlines. “Oceanic Airlines is proud to be a top tier flight provider and looks forward to providing travelers with many more years of unparalleled service.”
About Oceanic Airlines
In business for over 25 years, Oceanic Airlines is a major airline carrier and offers the highest caliber of service for international and domestic flights. Destinations include Los Angeles, London, Sydney and South Korea.
Notice anything funny about their new destinations? That's right- it's where Lost's major players are from.
"Watch With Wanda" also reports that 1) we should trust in "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and "DON'T PANIC." 2) We are "getting played" and 3) "Just because we're getting flash-forwards does not mean we learn now how it all turns out. Being at the "beginning of the end" means we're actually smack in the middle of the story. All the happily (n)ever afters for our Losties are not going to be revealed in this here second act of the story, so y'all just simmer down now! There's still plenty at stake."
So, if Time Travel really is involved (a la Desmond's flashes) then maybe Desmond is the key to saving them all. Or, perhaps Jack will figure out that the flashes they have been getting aren't just memories but forays into the past/future where he'll be able to changes things.
Weigh in- what do you think about these spoilers/bombshells?
